About the Binghamton Train Show

The Binghamton Train Show has been part of our area's model railroad community for generations. In 2027, we are proud to begin the next generation of the show. For the first time, it is expanding into a two-day event with more than 100 vendor tables, dedicated booth spaces, and 3,000 square feet devoted to layouts and displays.

In its most recent chapter, the show was operated by the late Jeff Olin, former owner of the hobby shop in Windsor. Following Jeff's passing, there was uncertainty about the show's future. I felt called to take the helm and make sure this tradition continued—not simply for another year, but for another generation.

I was 25 when I hosted my first Binghamton Train Show, and I'll be 26 when I welcome everyone to the 2027 show. I see my youth as a promise for the future of this show. I hope to spend many years growing it, honoring the people who built it before me, and introducing new generations to the hobby. Someday, when the time comes for me to step aside, I hope another young person will be ready to carry the Binghamton Train Show forward for yet another generation.
